Can we use them anywhere we want?

We all take many things for granted and feel that no one should tell us what we should do. We make our own decisions and we have no one to answer to but our self. When should people step in, or when is it none of their business?

If a parent is in a car with their children, is it ok for them to light up a cigarette? After all, it is the parents’ vehicle. Since it is their property, they have the right to do whatever they want. Besides, if they roll down the window the smoke will go right outside.

Little Billy sitting in the back does not care as he is likely busy snacking, sleeping, looking outside, or is playing a game. Billy is use to the smoke and it does not really bother him.

After all, we do live in a free country. If the child does not mind, are there any good reasons why a parent should or should not smoke inside a car?
