Not wearing dress that signals a click is one of the points of having school uniforms. It's all meant to make every student equal and reduce distractions.

I'm aginst school uniforms because you still have to wear them in cold temperatures, some uniforms are more expensive from designer labels and kids can't express themselves physically so they can't belong to a group easily and this is a social repercusion.

I don't mind the idea of school uniforms in primary school, but why do just about all Australian schools have Scottish dresses for the girls? It's completely absurd! Apart from looking absolutely horrible, it's completely anachronistic!
I'd like to see my daughters in uniforms that don't make them look drab and boring. Not that there's much chance of that...

I believe in having free choice, but there are certain exceptions also and our children go to school to learn. I think that there are enough distractions in the world like drugs, music, sex, and so on that children don't need to worry about who's wearing the latest fashion or what not. Having uniforms helps our children to remain focus on what their there for in the first place. To learn!

Perhaps they could be allowed to vote on what uniforms to wear. That way they could still have a choice and learn about a democracy as well.

If parents want their kids wearing uniforms to school, there are plenty of private schools that will force that on their kids.

If kids wear school uniform neither they or their parents have to worry about having the latest trend in fashion. Uniforms make things a lot easier and kids are still able to express themselves if they wear uniforms. They'll find way to add their own touch to it. And there's time after school to wear what they want.

We appreciate our freedom of choice. When forced to wear a uniform that choice is taken away.

There are many places that have uniforms, sports, clubs, jobs etc... but all of those you chose to take part in. Going to scool is a must, and not something kids can simply not go to.

They are unnecesary and add no value.
